个人 About

      在景德镇，每天独自往返于工作室和住处，感觉还好，像我这样来此追梦的人还不少。

      春天里，捡回一只刚出生就被丢弃的猫崽，一手指长，脐带还没脱落，取名“小小黑”。

      半年，小小黑成了大小黑，什么都会了，细看还是个挺帅气的小哥。当监护人固然辛苦，但这个猫崽带给我的快乐足以抵偿。

      特别是，他每天为我守门，晚归时老远就听见他唤我的声音了。我们，都找到了家的感觉。

      秋天，我要回南京了，突然发现彼此再不能分开，决意携他同行，我在哪，我们的家就在哪。

      此前，小小黑曾陪我去过工作室。那天他特兴奋，居然跃上我作画的泥板，在上面留下梅花状的指痕。我们就此合作完成了两幅画作：《喜悦》和《寻梅》。

     由此想到苏东坡“雪泥鸿爪”的诗意，是说人生无常，来去匆匆，如同飞鸿留在雪地上的爪印，雪化便无影无踪了。

     人的经历倒会在心里留下痕迹，特别是真情相爱、真心相待过的人和事。而为文作画，亦如飞鸟留痕，要想在观者心中留痕，绝要不得骄矜，更少不得真情。

     而家，又为何物？

     是随人迁徙的居所？是躲避风雨存放财物的地方？

     不全是，最要紧的是，在这个家里，住着彼此间相互信赖、相互守望的人！

     生如客旅。但愿所有的路人、所有的生命都有一个属于自己的家。

     当然，其中也包括我爱和爱我的人。

In Jingdezhen, I move between my studio and home everyday, which feels great. Like me, there are a lot of people here pursuing their dreams.

This spring, I happened upon and adopted a cat that had been abandoned at birth, only a finger-length long, even the umbilical cord had not fallen off. I named him Little Black. Half a year passed, and Little Black became very able and it was easy to see that he had grown into quite a handsome young cat. As his caretaker it was not always easy, but the happiness he brought me was compensation enough.

In particular, he guarded the door for me every day. I could hear him calling me on my way back home late at night. We had both found the feeling of home.

I had to go back to Nanjing in autumn. Suddenly I found that we couldn't be separated from each other. I was determined to take him with me, wherever I was, that would be our home.

Before this, I had taken Little Black to accompany me to the studio once. He was so excited that day that he jumped onto the clay slab I had painted with glaze, leaving his plum blossom paw-prints on it. We finished two paintings in this collaboration: “Joy” and “Searching for Plum Blossoms”.

It reminded me of the poem by Su Dongpo: "Swan Prints in the Snow", which speaks of how life is impermanent, quickly coming and going. Like the claw prints of swans in the snow, and all but disappear when the snow melts.

But the experience of life will leave traces in the mind, especially when it involves a matter in which the person has been truly loved and sincerely treated. As in painting or writing, it is just as birds leave their mark, the artist wants to impress something in viewer's mind; the artist must not be arrogant, or else risking a lack of true emotion.

And what of home?

Is it the residence to which we humans migrate? Is it the place to store personal belongings and to shelter from the wind and rain?

It is, but that is not a complete answer. The most important thing it is, this home, is a place where people share mutual trust and care about each other!

Life is like a journey. May all the passers-by, all lives, have a home of their own.

Of course, including people I love and that love me.
